Dinner with the girls......

So last night, Becca invited us over for dinner. I was trying to help out by feeding Skylee her bottle while we were eating. Dailey was having NO part of this. She convinced Becca that she was "done" with her dinner so that she could get out of her chair. She instantly ran over to my lap and climbed up. I tried to feed Skylee and eat and give Dailey the attention that she was obviously asking for from me.
Becca took Skylee from me and Dailey and I continued to eat off of my plate. For some reason Dailey ended up getting Skylee's bottle. I wasn't really paying much attention as to what she was doing, but when she sprayed the bottle (full of MILK....if you know what I mean, not formula) all over my plate, dinner was over for both of us.
As gross as it was, it really gave us all a good laugh!

Crazy Weekend

We had a crazy weekend filled with family and friends. Friday night Becky and I started out going for dinner and ended up closing the town down. Saturday Becky and I hung out with Dailey and Skylee. Saturday night, Dailey was NOT letting me leave her house without her. So with no hesitation, she came and stayed the night. Poor Travis, three nights in the spare bed. He doesn't mind.

Could she sit any closer to him? Pretty cute. Fresh out of bed. :)

Sunday was Kylee's suprise 16th birthday party and she got a car! It was great fun to see her be so excited about her car. She had no clue that she was getting it. Dailey went to the party with us too, so she thought that she was pretty cool "driving" Kylee's car!
Sunday night Travis enjoyed taking Kylee for a drive to teach her how to drive a stick. She caught on pretty quickly.

When do I get car?

And there it is! It really is a great little car for her.

Logan turns 10!

Last night we had Logan's 10th birthday party at our house. We had a great time although Travis wasn't able to be there because he had to work.
The best part of the night was when Dailey kept blowing Logan's candles out. We all got a good laugh out of it.
The boys played wii and Skylee slept. It was a very enjoyable night. I can't believe that Logan is 10.....He's growing up so fast.

Dailey was a big helper putting all of the candles on the cake. Then of course, blowing them out.

Auntie and Uncle -again!

The last few years of our married life have put things all into perspective for us. We have learned what is important in life - faith, family, good friends and most importantly, eachother. We've also learned not to sweat the small stuff.

Travis and I have been blessed with many important children in our lives. We like to say that they are "ours" but really they are our siblings children. We have three (as of yesterday!) nieces, three nephews and two little brothers. I wanted to share a photo of each of them so you will know who in the heck we're talking about - that will probably be the excitement of our "blogging".

Dailey and Skylee. Skylee was born just yesterday. Dailey will be 2 next month. She is Auntie's girl. Soon Skylee will be following in her footsteps. Here's Logan (my 9 year old brother).....He's the kid with all the heart in this bunch. He spends so much time caring for others. And he's hilarious too.

Poor Landon....My other brother. He broke his leg really bad a few weeks ago. As much as he hates (as we all do) having a broken leg, he loves being waited on. :)

Trey and Tanner....I'm guessing their mother had them hold the signs. They are two of our nephews that constantly have us laughing. Trey and Logan are in the same class this year (as they have always been) - poor teacher :) Kody the 6'2" (137 pound) freshman. He is the athlete of the bunch. Kody was even able to go to Japan to play baseball in August. Lucky kiddo!

And here's our beautiful niece Kylee. I'm not going to kid you - I got the picture off of her myspace. haha. She will be 16 in a week. I can't believe she's going to be driving.

And so my hubby and I don't get left out....Here we are!
