Irwindale

Last weekend we were fortunate to be able to go to Los Angeles for the weekend. Travis had a race just outside of LA and Becky and I thought we'd take Gale for a whirlwind 8 hour tour of the the city. We somehow ended up at Staples Center and joined in on all of the Michael Jackson madness, then went to Santee Alley and from there went for lunch at Hard Rock Cafe. I truly am blessed to be able to go to so many cool places while tagging along to watch my husband race.

Weekend Update

Saturday my posse and I headed to Monroe to watch Travis race...And he WON!!

The boys all stayed and camped with Chad and Traci. Travis and Dailey and I went to a hotel.

For my wonderful Sister

On Mother's Day, my sister posted the most wonderful photos of the girls and I. Although it made me cry like a baby, that simple post made my whole day, week and probably my month :) I started to write some things that I love and couldn't stop....

I LOVE "my girls".

I love that they boss me around.

I love that we "talk".

I love that Dailey and I whisper things to eachother.

I love that tonight Skylee waved to me when I picked her up tonight.

I love that Dailey thanked me for chasing her beautiful artwork down the street when the wind blew it away.

I love that I had to drive Dailey to gymnastics aka "nastics" tonight.

When we got there I love that she wanted me to do "nastics" with her.

I love that I have to pull over and fix Skylee's bottle when it falls out of her mouth when we're driving.
I love that when Skylee sleeps on my chest when she stays the night.

I love all the little quirky things we do.

I love that Dailey loves coffee.

I love that she loves Uncle.

I love that we are simply "Auntie" and "Uncle"

I love Dora....And Sponge Bob.

I love them I love them I love them.

I love that my sister is such a wonderful mommy.

I love that she shares her babies with Auntie.

WOW, it's been a while

Rather than blabbering on here I thought I'd just share some pictures from Phoenix. I can't believe that I haven't posted since before we went there.......

Warm Weather - Here we come!

Thursday night Travis will be racing in Phoenix in the NASCAR Camping World West Series. This will be his first time in this car and only his second race in this series. We are so excited and feel so fortunate that Travis is able to do what he loves -RACE! The last few weeks have been filled with stress, nervousness, and excitement. I can't wait for Thursday and I can't wait to be in Phoenix!

I love my Dilly

She is so silly, so crazy, so funny. She knows how to "work" me. She likes all the same things as me and she ALWAYS puts a smile on my face. Even yesterday, when she poured her own glass of milk ALL over the kitchen floor. It was so cute while she was doing it that I didn't have the heart to stop her. Something only an Auntie could say.
I LOVE YOU DAILEY. Thanks for always being my buddy.

Tis the season.......

Racing season is just around the corner. This time of the year I'm always so excited for it. Remind me I said that in October.

Logan and Landon's First Concert

So Sunday night we (Becky, Todd, Travis and I) took Logan and Landon to the Brad Paisley and Dierks Bently concert. We really had a great time. The concert went on a little longer than we had planned and Monday morning we had two GROUCHY boys on our hands. They managed to talk Travis into staying home from school and hanging out with him all day.....Hmmmm. :)

Long Time....No Posts

I just realized how long it's been since I posted. So......I thought I'd steal pictures off of Becky's blog of the three of us at the Zac Brown Band concert that was about a month ago.

Othello Basketball Trip

Last Saturday night we took a trip to Othello to watch Kody play basketball. The Tahoe was full to the brim. Myself, Dailey, Skylee, Shawna, Randy, Kylee and her friend Bri all made the trip. We had a great time. Dailey was so funny watching her movies on her little DVD player a.k.a. - the "Dora Player". Skylee was great, just taking it all in.

5 years.....

Saturday will mark our 5th wedding anniversary. One side of me can't believe that it's already been 5 years, and the other side feels like we've been married forever. I guess we've still been married a shorter time than we dated - Dated for 7 years. Married 5. Either way, I wouldn't change it for the world. I love our life together.
